I thoroughly enjoyed my day with you all. It was the first event I have attended and am looking forward to more. I loved the worship, preaching, and breakout sessions and felt a sense of “wanting to do better,” for my Lord, my family, and my church. Attending the event truly made me want to be a better man! I told our church about how much I enjoyed it and am hoping to bring more men next time.

Women…what were you thinking, Lord?

For all of human history, men have suffered great loss as they have sought too much of their validation from women and so often fall victim to the counterfeits. We’ll discuss the

Bonus Kids Are Your Kids Too

We will be reminded that when we married someone that already has children you made a vow to them as well. When you said “I Do” you also said “I Will” love the children that your wife has trusted you to be a fatherly influence.

Taking Dominion

The origin of taking dominion is established in the book of Genesis where man is instructed to “work” and to “keep.”  In other words, every man was created by God to take dominion, but in order for man to fulfill this calling, he must first take dominion over himself and over his flesh.  Through a study of God’s Word, we will learn practical steps to do just that and to honor the Lord with the dominion that He has ordained in our lives.

Who Are You?

As you know, we live in a world where there is a major identity crisis, and in our fallenness, men have not escaped this issue.  In order for man to fulfill his true calling, he must first know who he is.  Yet many men live their entire lives trying to find their identity from the world, rather than from God’s Word.  If you are a Christian, then the Lord has made you a new creation, He has redefined you…but the question is, do you know who you are?  Through a study of God’s Word, may we learn to answer the questions “Who Am I,” and “What has God called me to do?”

Embrace Your Struggle!

Pain and struggle are real for Christian men. Divorce or a marriage in peril. Financial woe. A wayward child. A hidden sin. Depression. Or fill in the blank…we all carry our own struggles. All too often we feel as though we can’t show our weak or share our pain as it’s unbecoming as a man. But God tells us differently. He will often allow our struggle to make us more like Christ…if we embrace Him.

The Mess of Being a Lukewarm Man

Many Christian men today are exhausted, feeling defeated, discouraged, and lonely. Why? We might attend church weekly, possibly even belong to a small group. But too often, we try to live for both the world’s vision of “success” and God’s definition of “significance” and inwardly we’re a mess. Jesus calls this being a lukewarm Christian. It’s exhausting…and discouraging. In this session we’ll follow the model of the early Christ followers and focus on the fundamentals of dying to self and living for Christ fully, completely…and imperfectly.

Speaking to the Next Generation

In Psalm 71:18 King David prayed, “even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation.” This session will discuss what this looks like and how we can pour our lives into the next generation.
